llan K. Sweitzer is a Food And Resource Economics senior specializing in Agribusiness Marketing and Management, who came in the USA from the Ivory Coast in West Africa in 2009. He attended the Rock School of Gainesville for his junior year in high school before attending Santa Fe College where he graduated with Honors, earning an A.A. degree in Accounting. He is a member of the PHI THETA KAPPA International Honor Society. Always highly involved in school activities, he was the Vice President of the Santa Fe French Club and volunteered to help students learning to speak French. As an entrepreneur at heart, his aspirations are work with companies that need people who are searching for constant growth. In his free time Ilan loves to play basketball, work out at the gym, read personal development books, and network with people. He is passionate about serving and giving back to this country that gave him the opportunity to change his life. After earning his B.S. in the spring of 2016, his short-term plans are to complete a Master of Science degree in Management and work toward taking the C.P.A exam.

Fernando Perez is a junior in Food & Resource Economics with a specialization in International FRE. After an unfortunate football injury he sustained during his first semester at Baldwin Wallace University he decided to transfer to Santa Fe College where he graduated with his A.A. degree. He explains that “everything worked out the way God intended” because now he is able to pursue his passion for agriculture and the communities involved just as he dreamed when he was a little boy. Also he states that growing up in Avon Park has everything to do with his desire for service in ag. His goals after graduation is to implement sustainable agricultural systems in third world countries “especially Central and South America” to ensure the health and safety of future generations. Some of his hobbies include: turkey hunting, weight lifting, and cooking.

Tyler Walker is a senior in Food & Resource Economics with a specialization in Agribusiness Marketing and Management. With a love for agriculture instilled in Tyler at a young age, he has always had his eyes set on pursuing a degree in agriculture from UF. After graduating, Tyler wants to work in the field of agricultural sales with a job that allows him to work in a hands-on environment with agricultural producers in the south and eventually be a producer himself, on the side. In his free time Tyler likes to compete in fishing tournaments, deer hunt, and enjoy Florida's many waterways boating.
Hometown: Caracas, Venezuela and Hallandale, Florida
Zacharias Cohen, is a junior majoring in Food & Resource Economics. He attended Miami Dade College, where he founded the Venezuelan Student Alliance Club. Zacharias is a member of the Tau Sigma National Honor Society UF Chapter. He is also serving as a member of the organization board for PlanPais 2016 that will be hosted this year in Gainesville by VENSA.
Mr. Cohen earned his A.A degree in Business Administration from Miami Dade College.
After graduation, Zacharias would like to represent or own a company that does business between North American and South American countries. With the goal of further developing a countries economy, specifically in agriculture and kosher food sectors.
In his free time Zacharias loves to play tennis matches with Becky, his twin sister. Running outdoors, cycling and swimming are also among his favorite sports.

Ulrich Adegbola is a Food and Resource Economics senior specializing in Agribusiness Marketing and Management and is currently working on his research project on long-term seed storage. Ulrich holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from his hometown, Benin, West Africa. He also earned an A.A. degree in Business Administration, graduating with the Highest Honor, in December 2013 from Santa Fe College where he was also a Student Assistant. Planning a career in Agribusiness Marketing, Ulrich hopes to have his own business, and also endeavors to contribute in the development of the food sector in Africa. Ulrich loves travelling and enjoys any outdoor activities. He is set to graduate in December 2015.

Michael Montoya is a senior majoring in Food and Resource Economics with a specialization in Marketing and Management and a minor in Entrepreneurship. He completed his A.A. degree at Santa Fe College in engineering prior to transferring into the University of Florida. Since transferring, Michael's academic success has earned him a spot on the Dean's List and an award from the F.R.E. Department for the Hal W. Lively Memorial Scholarship Fund. After graduating, his plans are to pursue a career in business and/or medical sales, utilizing his problem solving skills and open-minded personality. Michael is also interested in pursuing a Master of Science degree in Information Systems and Operations Management at the College of Business. His extracurricular activities include poker, paintballing, mountain biking, cars, weight lifting, and mixed martial arts, but most of his time not spent studying is dedicated to his son.

Lucas is a junior majoring in Food and Resource Economics with a specialization in international. Lucas transferred when he got his associates of arts at Santa Fe College. After completing his bachelor’s degree in Spring 2017, Lucas wants to work and travel to better diversify his skills. Lucas is a true outdoorsman and he wants to better the community through geologic studies inside and outside the country. His passions deal mostly with traveling, reading environmental novels, and always being active. Lucas loves playing just about every sport, especially golf, basketball, spearfishing, and surfing.

Ji Lee is a graduating senior Food and Resource Economics with an International Economics Specialization, and pursuing a minor in accounting. Ji graduated from Santa Fe College with an A.A. degree in Business Administration, and is a member of Alpha Zeta Honors Society. After graduation, Ji plans to attend law school and work in the United Nation, to educate people worldwide about economic development in agriculture and more. Her hobbies include: traveling, singing, acting, reading about fashion, painting, dancing, watching movies, and learning new cultures.

A native of Gainesville, Daniel is currently a Food and Resource Economics student at the University of Florida with a focus in international studies. Daniel is excited to serve the Agricultural Economics club in the position of ALSCC representative for the 2015-2016 term. Daniel has previously held leadership positions such as Student Body President at Santa Fe College 2013-2014, and Environmental Chair for the St. John's Suwannee Sierra Club in Alachua County Florida. Daniel won the outstanding representative (1st place award) Florida Model Legislature and also the Gold Leadership Institute Achiever Certificate from Santa Fe College. Daniel has a strong interest in the environment and sustainable agricultural and hopes to purchase farmland and found a land trust to buy parcels into conservation in an attempt to preserve natural ecological habitats and natural waterways.
