Extension and Outreach

Food and Resource Economics Department Extension and Outreach programs provide science-based information about economic aspects of agricultural production and natural resource management to agricultural producers, allied industries, local and state agencies, environmental organizations, and citizens of Florida. We are a part of the state-wide UF/IFAS Cooperative Extension educational network that conducts educational programs and provides research-based information to Florida residents and communities. Our programs address a diverse range of topics including the economics of Florida agricultural commodities, agricultural law and policy, marketing of agricultural products, economic impacts of programs and activities, international trade, and water policies.
