Assessment Of Agricultural Losses Resulting From Winter Storm Finn

Summary

On January 9, 2024, Winter Storm Finn, a fast-moving winter weather system that impacted a significant portion of the continental United States, brought severe weather (damaging winds and tornados) to portions of the state of Florida. Data are being collected via the Assessment of Losses and Damages to Florida Agriculture from Hazard/Disaster Events tool, which has been used for assessing several events in the recent past, including Hurricanes Michael, Ian, and Idalia.

To learn more about the Damage and Loss Assessment process, how survey responses are used, and why this information matters for Florida agriculture now and in the future, visit our Damage Assessments FAQS
