Commodity Production Budgets

About

This web page provides links to estimated enterprise/cost of production budgets for a wide range of agricultural crops and products produced in different regions across the state of Florida.

The budgets are intended to reflect the cost of production incurred under production practices that are considered typical for any given crop in a particular region of the state as identified by a consensus of opinion among various producers in each production region, and IFAS personnel. It should be emphasized that cost estimates resulting from this process should not be considered as representing the average cost of production in a statistical sense, nor should the budgets be considered to reflect recommended production practices. The intent of these budgets is to establish a benchmark within the range of actual costs that could be expected to produce the crop, with the thought that individual growers will adjust the budgets to reflect their particular production practices and situation.
