• Economic Analysis

  Regional economic modeling, economic contribution analyses, and economic impact analyses can all provide useful information for government program assessment and informed decision making at all levels.  The Economic Impact Analysis Program can provide:

  • regional economic modeling and analysis at the county, state, or national level
  • economic contribution or impact analysis of industry activity, commodity production, government regulations or policies, new technologies, natural disasters, and industrial or community development projects
  • evaluation of economic linkages among industries, institutions, and households
  • forecasting the effects of market or policy changes
• Survey Research

  Often in collaboration with the Florida Agricultural Market Research Center or the Florida Survey Research Center, the Economic Impact Analysis Program offers survey research services including:

  • survey questionnaire and statistical sampling design
  • mail and telephone survey implementation and analysis
  • measurement of industry or commodity output, imports/exports, employment, value added and inputs purchased
  • profiling of industry or market structure, production, and marketing practices
  • measurement of consumer expenditures, consumption and purchasing patterns
  • assessment of producer or consumer opinions, preferences and expectations
  • valuation of non-market or non-monetary goods, services, and natural resources
