Food & Resource Economics Department
100 Gala
Friday, March 27, 2026
6-9pm
Join us for a night of gourmet food and drinks, live music, networking, and connecting as we celebrate 100 Years of Food and Resource Economics at the University of Florida!
From our venue, the Evans Champions Club inside Ben Hill Griffin Stadium (Did You Know that Ben Hill Griffin was a former FRE Student?), to the carefully curated selection of guest speakers, everything about this night has been designed to celebrate the best and the brightest accomplishments of this storied Department, and toast to the imagination of what is to come in the next century ahead.
Entertainment
Throughout cocktail hour and in between speakers, as you dine, prepare to enjoy being serenaded with live music performed by The UF Jazz Quintet.
Dining
As part of the evening, we hope you will join us first for a cocktail hour with passed appetizers, followed by a three-course plated dinner, all provided by Cacciatore Catering. Dinner will consist of a salad course, a Surf & Turf main course served with house made dinner rolls, and a dessert.
All meals can be prepared gluten-free, and kosher, vegetarian and vegan options will be available upon request at registration.
