Mike is the author and designer of Mise: On the Future of Food, a book of scenarios depicting what our food system could look like in the future. The four scenarios in Mise were created to help people better understand the potential long-term impact of today’s major current events on how we make and eat food in the coming decades.
Throughout cocktail hour and in between speakers, as you dine, prepare to enjoy being serenaded with live music performed by The UF Jazz Quintet.
As part of the evening, we hope you will join us first for a cocktail hour with passed appetizers, followed by a three-course plated dinner, all provided by Cacciatore Catering. Dinner will consist of a salad course, a Surf & Turf main course served with house made dinner rolls, and a dessert.
All meals can be prepared gluten-free, and kosher, vegetarian and vegan options will be available upon request at registration.
