Upcoming MAB Events
While our 100% online degree format allows students to earn their Master of Agribusiness Degree from anywhere, we also want to ensure that we are providing fun, professional development events throughout the year that allow for our students to network within their cohort and beyond.

April 7th - Clay Ranch Tour & Blueberry U-Pick
- Time: 1:00PM - 5:00PM
- Location: 1287 State Rd 100, Florahome, FL 32140
- A great opportunity to visit an agritourism operation and talk with the owner/operator Chance Clay. We will visit the blueberry farm to discuss retail/u-pick markets and the ranch which is commercial beef production.
- Bring lunch for a picnic at the ranch! We will also have the opportunity to pick blueberries and shop for blueberry goodies at the ranch!
- A carpool from Gainesville will be available.
May 8th - Florida Ag Policy Outlook Conference
- Time: 8:00AM - 5:00PM
- Location: Plant Science Research and Education Unit, 2556 W. Highway 318, Citra, FL 32113
- This conference (hosted by the Food and Resource Economics Department) examines critical policy issues facing Florida agribusiness leaders & explores valuable economic insights for making informed decisions.
- A great opportunity to learn from and network with key players in Florida agricultural policy.
- Featuring a graduate student poster competition (details to be announced).
- A carpool from Gainesville will be available.
- A student discount is available to attend in person.
- Online attendance is an option for those unable to travel!
July 18th - MAB Gathering and Presentations
- Time: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Location: 1151 McCarty Hall A, Gainesville, FL 32611
- Students are highly encouraged to present their final capstone presentations in-person at this event. This event acts as a culmination of the program, where students and faculty will gather together and receive an audience for their capstone and recognition for their hard work.
November TBD - Florida Ag Expo
- Time: 7:30AM - 5:00PM
- Location: Gulf Coast Research and Education Center 14625 Co Rd 672, Wimauma, FL 33598
- For more than 15 years, the Florida Ag Expo has provided specialty crop growers with the opportunity to gather and network with their peers while learning about the latest research on fruit and vegetable production.
