Youngho (Young) Kim
Assistant Professor
Youngho (Young) Kim is an Assistant Professor of Environmental and Resource Economics in the Department of Food and Resource Economics at the University of Florida. His research examines the design and evaluation of economic policies that address market failures in the provision of environmental services, with an emphasis on payment for ecosystem services (PES) programs and environmental credit markets.
Before joining the University of Florida, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Environmental Economics at the University of Oxford. He earned his Ph.D. in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of Maryland and his B.S. in Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M University.
