Field and Row Crops

Seeds, Stalks, and Soil

Operations involved in field and row crop farming include, but are not limited to, those growing oilseeds, grains, cotton, hay, sugarcane, and peanuts. These crops tend to have an annual growth cycle and are grown in open fields.

Florida harvested more than 1 million acres of field and row crops in 2023.
