About Our Undergraduate Programs
From small-class sizes that personalize student experience at a large-scale, top-tier public research university, to our core curriculum that prioritizes experiential learning and hands-on classroom activities to promote real-world applications of your coursework, the Undergraduate Programs in Food and Resource Economics at the University of Florida are designed to do three things:
- Help students develop the skills to think critically and analyze complex situations
- Provide an in-depth understanding of our food and natural resource systems and the challenges faced in meeting the needs of people in local, state, national, and global communities
- Prepare graduates to succeed in the career of their choosing in areas such as sales, finance, marketing, management, environmental policy, law, international trade, math and economics.
